I used lines from Julian’s last interview: “As someone who loves to document how human civilization actually works, we’re in constant warfare with those people who are trying to distort the understanding of how human beings actually behave”

This reflects perfectly the significance of Julian’s work and also Diem25. The general public is subjected to constant bad faith from our representatives, dedicated to discourage us to participate to defend the interest of the vast majority. Another significant line that reflects the severity of our situation: “Democracies are being lied into war”

 ALBERTO CASAS BIOGRAPHY

My name is Alberto Casas, I’m an artist from Galicia (Spain) currently living in Germany. I do illustration and writing. I embrace art for its own aesthetic value and also for its communicative power. I like to use my voice through art and raise awareness on issues that I think are important to get a better world for everyone.

Somehow art plays a role of informal adult education in our societies. I like to play my part there and I’m very excited about this initiative from DiEM25.
