As our planet’s clock approaches midnight, world leaders are now in Glasgow at COP26 in order to come up with new excuses, new symbolic targets and new ways to silence the real progressive voices who oppose them. We refuse to sit in the back while no one drives. On November 14 – 16, join Noam Chomsky, Yanis Varoufakis, Caroline Lucas and many other progressives in saying: COP OFF!
In this three-day online event, DiEM25 will gather progressives from around the world to discuss some of the most pressing issues of our time, ideas you won’t hear at COP26.
Before then, on November 6 at the Global Day of Action, DiEM25 is planning a Pan-European action to take the Green New Deal for Europe out onto the streets. We are calling on you to join forces with the rest of DiEM25 to help us raise awareness about our transformative green economy proposals.
What is DiEM’s Activist Circle?
DiEM’s Activist Circle will see groups of DiEM25 members take to the streets in their local towns and cities, standing in a circle with laptops showing passers-by pictures and videos of pertinent climate issues that are impeding the lives of citizens across Europe.
